The Real Life Journey

Preparing for the future by learning from the past

I'm Dave Redfern, and for the last six years I’ve helped people break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals.

I don't have a conventional background. A scaffolder by trade, I'm far from what you might expect in a counsellor. In fact in my younger days life was very different, culminating in time as an inmate of HM Prison Wandsworth. Having spent over ten years practicing healing and self-discovery I am keen to continue helping others reach their full potential. Whatever problems or difficulties you are facing, I promise you a warm welcome and friendly, non-judgemental guidance.

Dave's counselling is unbelievable, his approach is really unique. Dave has a great manner, is very kind, offering an empathetic non-judgmental ear. He helped me frame things I’d been struggling with for years in a completely different way, giving me actionable steps to overcome some of my personal mental health challenges. Working with Dave has been a life changing process for me. Thank you Dave.
